This shaft eliminates the guibo, carrier bearing, and the crappy rear CV joint from your driveshaft. You will have a noticeable improvement in acceleration feel and responsiveness, as well as a massive gain in strength. These shafts have replaceable u-joints for easy maintenance down the road. These shafts are capable of 1,000+HP. Our direct fit design and high-speed balancing are the keys to our shaft's smooth operation. Direct-fit components offer true center line accuracy to the shaft, unlike our competitions adapter-style components.
This shaft comes with grade 10 hardware for the transmission flange. An OEM BMW pinion nut repair kit can be added for $35. Installation instructions will be emailed to you after ordering.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1) The larger diameter of this driveshaft may require trimming, bending, or tying some of your vehicles components to make proper room around the driveshaft. We will make known the common modifications in the installation instructions, however it is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the customer to make sure nothing will rub on the driveshaft. It will ruin your driveshaft at your expense.
2) It is strongly recommended that you run stiffer bushings and/or bracing to minimize as much pinion (differential) wrap up and down movement as possible. Excessive pinion wrap will shove the driveshaft into components on your vehicle and cause damage to the shaft and your vehicle. Again, this damage is your responsibility.
